Delivery options explained
Tiles travel on pallets with freight carriers, so your options look a little different to a courier parcel. Here's what each one on the shipping calculator and at checkout means.
Most popular
Delivery to depot
Your pallet is delivered to the freight carrier's depot closest to you, and you collect it from there whenever suits. It's usually the cheapest option too. Depot staff can load your ute or trailer with a forklift, or you're welcome to break the pallet down and load the boxes individually into your car.
Tailgate truck to your door
Delivery to home
A truck with a tailgate lifter lowers your pallet to the ground, so no equipment is needed at your end. Someone should be there to receive it. The driver will bring the pallet into your driveway or garage but no further: tiles are heavy, so arrange a hand to move them inside.
Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne
Local delivery
If your address is close to one of our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne warehouses, our local truck delivers your pallet instead, tailgate included. It appears automatically at checkout when your address qualifies. As with home delivery, the pallet comes as far as your driveway or garage, no further.
Usually the cheapest door delivery
Delivery to your business (forklift on site)
The truck arrives and your forklift lifts the pallet off. Because the driver doesn't need a tailgate vehicle, this is usually significantly cheaper than a home delivery. Only choose it when a forklift and operator will genuinely be on site: if the truck can't be unloaded, redelivery fees apply.
For businesses without a forklift
Delivery to your business (tailgate, no forklift)
Same as a home delivery, but to your business address: the truck's tailgate lowers the pallet to the ground during business hours. Pick this if you're delivering to a shop, office or site with no forklift.
Delivery times shown next to each option are carrier estimates from dispatch. If we can't price your address automatically, you'll see a note instead of rates: continue to checkout and we'll come back to you with an exact shipping cost within one business day.
Common questions
- Where do you deliver?
- Australia-wide. We ship from warehouses in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, so most metro orders are dispatched from the location closest to you.
- How much does delivery cost?
- Freight is quoted live at checkout based on the tiles you're ordering and where they're going. Tiles are heavy and palletised, so cost varies with quantity and location. The checkout figure is the price you pay.
- How long does delivery take?
- Once you enter your delivery address at checkout, the estimated delivery time is shown next to each shipping option, so you can pick the one that suits you before you pay.
- Do you offer forklift offload?
- Yes. If you have a forklift on site, enter a business name at checkout to see shipping options that include forklift offload. Please only choose a forklift option when a forklift will actually be available: if there's no forklift on site when the truck arrives, the delivery can't be completed and redelivery fees will apply.
- Can I collect my order?
- Yes. Once your order is placed it's prepared by your closest warehouse. You'll receive an email with pickup information, including the warehouse address and a pickup reference.
When your order arrives
Please inspect your delivery on arrival. Tiles are carefully packed, but freight can occasionally cause breakages. If anything arrives damaged, take a photo and contact us straight away so we can sort out a replacement. See our returns policy for full details.
