Tallow Travertine Look Tiles

Tallow Travertine Look Tiles

Tallow is our vein cut travertine look porcelain: the soft, linear banding of classic Roman travertine in a hard-wearing matt porcelain that suits bathrooms, living areas and feature walls. Two warm neutral colours (Light and Beige), three formats from 300x600mm to a statement 600x1200mm, plus a fluted Bamboo feature panel for shower and vanity walls.

The premium travertine look for around half the price of the big-name alternatives, delivered Australia-wide. Order a large 20x20cm cut sample for $2 and see the colour and finish at home before you buy.

The travertine look, without the maintenance

Real travertine is a beautiful but demanding stone: it is porous, needs sealing on installation and resealing over its life, and can etch and stain in wet areas. Tallow gives you the same soft, vein cut banding in a matt porcelain that never needs sealing, shrugs off bathroom moisture and kitchen spills, and cleans with water and a neutral detergent. The surface carries a P4 slip rating, so it works underfoot as confidently as it does on walls.

Vein cut is the modern way to run travertine: the block is sliced against the bedding plane so the mineral layers read as long, calm, linear bands. Laid across a floor or stacked up a shower wall, the lines draw the room longer and taller. Both Tallow colours sit in the warm neutral family, Light as a soft ivory and Beige a shade deeper, so they pair naturally with timber vanities, brushed brass and warm whites.

Three formats and a feature panel

The range runs 300x600mm, 600x600mm and a statement 600x1200mm in both colours, all rectified for tight grout lines. Floors, shower walls and full-height feature walls can carry one continuous look, and because every format shares the same face, you can mix sizes between rooms without a colour step.

The Bamboo feature panel is the range's showpiece: a fluted, ribbed 600x1200mm relief in the same vein cut face, made for vanity walls, shower niches and the wall behind a freestanding bath. Order a large 20x20cm cut sample of any Tallow tile for $2 and check the colour and finish in your own light before you commit.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tallow real travertine?+

No, and that is the point. Tallow is a vein cut travertine look porcelain: it captures the linear banding of Roman travertine in a matt porcelain that never needs sealing, resists staining and moisture, and suits floors and walls indoors. You get the look of the stone without its upkeep.

Where can Tallow tiles be used?+

Bathroom floors and walls, kitchens, living areas and feature walls. The matt surface carries a P4 slip rating, and porcelain handles wet areas that real travertine struggles with. The Bamboo feature panel is wall-only and is most at home on vanity and bath feature walls.

What sizes do Tallow tiles come in?+

300x600mm, 600x600mm and 600x1200mm in both colours (Light and Beige), plus a fluted Bamboo feature panel in 600x1200mm. All formats are rectified porcelain with the same vein cut face, so sizes can be mixed across rooms.

Can I get a sample of Tallow?+

Yes. Every Tallow tile has a large 20x20cm cut sample for $2, posted Australia-wide with flat rate shipping. There is also a one-click sample set that sends both colours plus the Bamboo feature cut together.
