Future Tile is a small Brisbane team selling tiles to homeowners, builders and tilers right across Australia. We care about getting the details right for our customers, and we build a lot of our own tools to do it.
Operations & Support Assistant

You will be the person who keeps orders moving and customers looked after. It is a mix of customer support and back-of-house operations, based at our Fortitude Valley showroom, working closely with a small team that sells tiles to homeowners and trades right across Australia.
What you'll do
- Answer customer enquiries by phone, live chat and email: product questions, quantities, order updates and delivery times.
- Look after orders from start to finish: confirm stock with our suppliers, place purchase orders, book freight and keep the customer updated until it arrives.
- Pack and send tile samples, and get customer pickups ready.
- Welcome customers to the showroom and help them choose the right tile.
- Sort out the tricky ones, like a delayed delivery, a broken box or a return, with care and follow-through.
- Keep our product, stock and order records accurate.
About you
- Experience in customer service, retail, admin or logistics. Tile, building or trade supply is a bonus, not a must.
- Clear and friendly on the phone and in writing.
- Organised. You close loops and do not let things slip.
- Comfortable on a computer and quick to pick up new software.
- Happy with some lifting: boxes of tiles are heavy.
- Full working rights in Australia.
What we offer
- $60,000 to $65,000 + super, full-time.
- Monday to Friday, weekends off.

- Training on tiles and our systems, so you will know the range inside out.
- Based in Fortitude Valley, a short walk from the train station.
