Three constructions, one timber look
The whole range gives you the natural warmth of timber, but the core underneath decides where each floor belongs. SPC hybrid has a rigid stone-polymer core, is 100% waterproof and comes with an attached acoustic underlay, so it handles kitchens, laundries, bathrooms and busy family spaces without fuss. It is pet and kid friendly and clicks together as a floating floor over most existing surfaces.
Laminate is the budget-friendly, hard-wearing choice built on an HDF core. It is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof, so it suits bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where spills get wiped up quickly. Engineered timber is genuine wood: a real oak veneer over a stable core, warm and premium underfoot. It is water-resistant with care but not waterproof, so keep it out of wet areas.
Plank, herringbone and chevron
Format changes the whole feel of a room. Classic planks lay quickly and read calm and contemporary. Herringbone and chevron bring a considered, designer finish, herringbone from rectangular blocks set at right angles and chevron from angled ends that form a continuous V. All three formats run across the SPC hybrid, laminate and engineered ranges, so you can hold your preferred look and then choose the construction that fits the space.
Choosing the right floor for your home
Start with the room. For anywhere that meets water, a kitchen, bathroom, laundry or a home with pets and young children, SPC hybrid is the safe, low-maintenance pick. For bedrooms and living areas on a tighter budget, laminate delivers the look and toughness for less. When you want real timber underfoot in a lounge or bedroom, engineered oak is the premium option.
Every product page lists exact specifications and downloadable manufacturer info sheets, including the installation and maintenance guide, warranty, and fire, slip and acoustic reports. Check those sheets for precise technical figures, order a sample to see the colour at home, and lean on our price match promise when you are ready to buy.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between hybrid, laminate and engineered flooring?+
SPC hybrid has a rigid stone-polymer core and is 100% waterproof with attached acoustic underlay. Laminate has an HDF core and is water-resistant and budget-friendly. Engineered timber is a real oak veneer over a stable core: genuine wood, warm and premium, water-resistant with care but not waterproof.
Which flooring is best for wet areas like bathrooms and laundries?+
SPC hybrid. Its rigid stone-polymer core is 100% waterproof, so it suits bathrooms, laundries, kitchens and homes with pets and kids. Laminate is only water-resistant and engineered timber should be kept out of wet areas, so both are better for dry rooms.
Is engineered timber real wood?+
Yes. Engineered timber is a genuine oak veneer bonded to a stable core, so you get the warmth and character of real wood with more dimensional stability than a solid board. It is water-resistant with care but not waterproof, so avoid wet areas.
Can I get a sample and where can I collect my order?+
Yes, you can order a sample to check the colour and finish in your own light before you commit. Click and collect is available from our Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne warehouses, and we ship by depot freight Australia-wide.
How do I find exact warranty, slip and fire ratings?+
Each product page has downloadable manufacturer info sheets, including the installation and maintenance guide, warranty, and fire, slip and acoustic reports. These list the exact technical figures for that specific floor. Every product is also price matched.
