Sealing recommended
This is an unglazed mosaic. We recommend sealing it for ease of maintenance and cleaning. We suggest Aqua Seal Gold.
The Marlowe Black Matt Penny Round brings back a classic circular mosaic in a deep, non-reflective black. The unglazed porcelain surface has a soft, flat matte character that reads as understated rather than glossy, letting the repeating 19mm rounds and the grout lattice do the talking.
It's a confident choice for bathroom floors and walls, shower bases, kitchen splashbacks and laundries, and its P4 slip rating makes it a sensible pick for wet zones underfoot. The mesh-backed sheets keep installation straightforward for tradies and DIY renovators alike, while the tight penny pattern suits both heritage-inspired and contemporary schemes. Part of a wider penny round range with other colours and finishes if you're mixing spaces.
