20mm Ceramic & Porcelain Pavers
Our range of ceramic and porcelain pavers are fantastic for using as outdoor paving tiles. Available in a large variety of neutral colours, these outdoor pavers are twice as thick as most tiles, which means they heat up at a slower rate - making them perfect for Aussie gardens. These outdoor porcelain pavers and outdoor ceramic pavers have slip ratings of P4 to P5, so they're low-slip and ideal for use in the elements. Use them for your patio, BBQ area, or placed down the side of your house for an elegant, low-maintenance solution.
Shipping from our warehouses in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, with flat-rate local delivery in each city and depot freight Australia wide.

20mm ceramic and porcelain pavers for outdoor spaces
Our 20mm ceramic and porcelain pavers are built for outdoor living, from alfresco areas and pool surrounds to courtyards, garden paths and driveways. At 20mm thick they are stronger and more load bearing than standard indoor tiles, so they hold up to foot traffic, outdoor furniture and the weather without cracking or fading. Many buyers pair them with a matching 9mm or 10mm indoor tile from the same range to carry one look from inside the house out to the patio.
Porcelain and ceramic pavers do not absorb water the way natural stone or concrete can, which means they resist stains, moss, frost and salt, and they clean up with a hose and a broom. You can lay them on a traditional mortar bed, on pedestals over a deck or balcony, or dry laid on a compacted base of sand and gravel, which makes them a flexible choice whether you are building a new patio or refreshing an old one.
Paver finishes, looks and slip ratings explained
The range covers timber look, stone look, concrete and terrazzo looks, plus plain solid colours in warm greys, charcoals, sandy neutrals and off whites. Textured and structured surfaces are the norm outdoors because they give grip underfoot when the surface is wet, while still being easy to sweep and mop. If you want the paths inside and out to match, look for a range that offers both a 20mm outdoor paver and a thinner indoor tile in the same colour and format.
For pool decks, wet areas and any surface that gets rained on, check the slip rating listed on each product page and choose one suited to the job. Coverage per box, exact dimensions and thickness are also listed on the product page so you can work out how many pavers you need. Order a sample to see the colour and texture in your own outdoor light, and know that every paver is price matched and delivered Australia wide.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a 20mm paver and a normal tile?+
A 20mm paver is roughly twice the thickness of a standard 9mm or 10mm indoor tile, which makes it far stronger and able to carry more weight. That extra thickness lets you lay it outdoors on pedestals, on sand and gravel, or on a mortar bed for patios, pool surrounds and paths. Normal tiles are too thin for these outdoor applications.
Are 20mm porcelain pavers slippery around a pool?+
Outdoor pavers are usually made with textured or structured surfaces that give grip underfoot when wet, which suits pool surrounds and alfresco areas. Always check the slip rating listed on the product page and choose one rated for wet external use. Porcelain also resists pool salt and chemicals better than many natural materials.
Can I get an indoor tile to match my pavers?+
Many of our ranges offer a 20mm outdoor paver alongside a thinner indoor tile in the same colour and format, so you can run one continuous look from your living room out to the patio. Check the product page to see if a matching indoor size is available in that range. This is a popular way to make an alfresco feel like an extension of the home.
Can I order a sample?+
Yes. You can order a sample of any 20mm ceramic or porcelain paver before buying so you can check the colour, texture and slip finish in your own outdoor light. Samples are shipped Australia wide.
